Michael Angwin has spent the past 30 years working at senior levels of Australian business and government. He was the CEO of the Australian Uranium Association from 2006 to 2013 and Assistant Director of the Business Council of Australia. He was Rio Tinto’s chief employee relations adviser; and a senior executive in the Australian and Victorian public services.
His career in business and public policy communications and advocacy has seen him leading and at the centre of debate about some of the most challenging economic and political issues the country has addressed: national labour market reform, national wages policy, employee relations and work practice change in the resources industry and the normalisation of the Australian uranium industry. Michael specialises in public affairs strategy and stakeholder communications.
